Meet at C/O (or some space at Barrington), get our ducks in a row, share, collaborate, set a path for our next steps, set a January meeting date (grab a quick take out lunch or something while we meet)
Any time left during the day could be used for Bookroom Coordinators to work in their respective bookrooms

Bookroom Coordinators found this structure to be very useful in understanding where each school is in the process of upgrading and aligning bookrooms, being able to ask questions, take pictures, share ideas and collaborate
New Language Arts standards came out in June 2010. The state will be coming out with a Model Curiculum in March 2011
Budgeting process is underway for the 2011-2012 school year, with a need to continue to improve the literacy framework, which includes the bookroom
Bookroom Coordinator roles and responsibilities may change for the next school year to include more PD for teachers to understand how the Bookroom and the Balanced Literacy Framework integrate
Will begin to have joint meetings with the Bookroom Coordinators and Literacy Coordinators where decisions are discussed and made
